Fishing Addiction Jumbo Fly Rig Size 2

When the bigger fish in the school want a bigger meal, go Jumbo.

The Fishing Addiction Gear Jumbo Fly Rig – Size 2 takes the proven Perch Fly Rig concept and upsizes it for anglers targeting jumbo perch, crappie, white bass, and other schooling panfish. Its larger-profile flies are hand-tied on premium Size 2 Mustad hooks, giving you the hook size and gap you need when tipping your rig with larger shiners or other substantial bait.

The double-dropper design puts two flies in the water at once, giving you two opportunities to trigger a bite on every drop. When perch are schooled up beneath the boat, that can also mean the opportunity for doubles—one of the biggest advantages of this style of rig. Fishing Addiction Gear says its two-hook perch rigs have been proven in the hands of thousands of anglers.

The Size 2 hooks aren't simply bigger for the sake of being bigger. Their increased hook gap is designed to improve hookups when using larger bait, while the larger flies provide a more substantial profile that can help distinguish your presentation when bigger fish are mixed into a school. The rig is built with the same trusted components Fishing Addiction Gear uses throughout its perch-rig lineup and is designed to withstand repeated catches.

Every rig also includes a swivel attachment point and a bottom snap for adding your sinker and changing weights quickly. You can fish it as-is, or add one of Fishing Addiction Gear's Clip-on Flies to turn the two-hook setup into a three-hook presentation.

For Southeast Wisconsin anglers chasing perch on Lake Winnebago, the Fox River system, inland lakes, or other Great Lakes-area waters, the Jumbo Fly Rig is a smart choice when the fish are feeding on larger bait—or when you simply want a more substantial presentation.
